Do you prefer a cool-to-mild climate year-round or a colder climate with a greater chance at some summer warmth?

Lhasa for having more seasonal variation.

Both suck, but I vote for La Paz cause of the milder winters
From memory it seems like Lhasa was much warmer. I must be confusing it with some other cities in the region

Lhasa is the lesser evil in the latitude and annual pattern.

Lhasa because it has temperature variation. Both places suck.

Both are pretty bad.
Lhasa wins this one for me as it has more seasonal variation.

La Paz - less sunny, greater potential for snow.
Also, I try really hard to not let politics factor into climate battle votes, but...yeah that too.

Lhasa no contest.
Lhasa would be an awesome climate with colder and snowier winters. Rest of the year is good although slightly more heat would be welcome.

I choose Lhasa for being sunnier and having a warmer summer, despite the cold winters. La Paz, OTOH gets an automatic F for having an all-time record high below 86°F.

Very close. I'll go with Lhasa only for the sunshine. La Paz is a bit cloudy, but then again it is far more comfortable in the cool season.

I'd rather take cyanide over either of these high-altitute summerless shitheaps.
I guess begrudgingly La Paz for lacking a cold winter.

La Paz for being more comfortable and lacking Lhasa's shitheaps of dry cold.

Lhasa seems more interesting overall, but La Paz's climate is not really bad at all, but both can be wetter and also less defined rainy seasons.

I dislike both, as the thinner air makes breathing harder for humans. However, I will still choose La Paz as it isn't as cold in winter, and daytimes will still feel warm underneath the tropical sun.

Both suck, but gun to my head I'll choose La Paz for being warmer in winter
