Obviously E"x" would lose, so I am going to exclude it. Lets not bring borderline climate bullshit into this thread.
D - Continental
C - Subtropical
B - Arid
A - Tropical
My favorite would certainly be D, worst is difficult for me. I would have to say A. I just couldn't live in a place that never has a cool month below 64F.

Tropical is the worst easily.

D, for all the Dxc's and Dxd's and cold Dfb's which are dreadful.
C is the best!
Bandung, Brasília, Medellín >>>> the likes of Fairbanks, Yakutsk, Kautokeino, and other icy hellholes.

A; Tropical. Especially arid tropical.

A. The worst C climates are worse than any A climate though.

Speagles84 There's an error in your poll—why is C listed as "Subtropical"? It should be Temperate.

A is the worst by far. C is the best, and D/B are probably equal.

Cfa is the most climate classification imo. It contains Boston, Trieste, Houston, and Buenos Aires. These climates have nothing in common, how the fuck are they in the same category. So my vote is for C

Not what this thread is about.
My least favourite is obviously the A classification.

Tropical. I'd survive in a desert, I love the desolate landscape and sweating that actually works but a 24/7 suffocating sauna is the worst.

Worst of any climate grouping is EF, ice cap. Second best is ET, but Bwh is up there too. Best is Dfb, followed by Dfa.
Of the four listed, A/tropical is the worst. There is no cool season. Some cool, borderline tropical/subtropical climates are okay, but none are good. The second worst is B/arid. This includes the worst furnace climates in the world, but prairie / steppe climates can have good temperature variety and cold winters. The second best is C/subtropical. It's possible to get seasons here, unlike tropical climates, and they have enough rainfall. Some "subtropical" climates can have good snowfall as well. The best is D/continental, of course.

Besides the obvious ones (ice cap), I will go with Dfa and Af

Tropical and continental are both bad, for very different reasons. Warm continental climates like say Kansas City are much more liveable than cold ones or tropical ones, but in general, the tropics are better (with the exception of rainforests ).

Arid, followed by continental, especially cold continental.

Tropical rules...ok ?....how can one not appreciate shorts, singlets and bare feet 12 months of the year ? What is wrong with with all you bastards ? Girls wear skimpy clothes/next to nothing for 12 months of the year.

Excluding the E group, continental is overall the worst climate group but some Cfb and most Cfc climates are worse than Dfb/c climates, therefore Cfc is the worst climate classification excluding ones in the E group.

Arid, specifically Hot desert climates, followed by hot semiarid climates, and then tropical climates.

A for the complete lack of non-bad climates but the world’s worst climates are C or D.
