In this version I made the winters a few degrees colder and slightly increased the snowfall. Almost all the rain during the summer comes in the form of short intense convective thunderstorms during the afternoon.

B/B-, I'd prefer warmer shoulder seasons (and perhaps winter nights), somewhat less extreme records (especially the cold records in spring and autumn) and less rain and snow but otherwise it seems nice.

It was better before, as winters are too cold now (when considering the extreme variability). However, I am very surprised that you did not make your summers a few degrees cooler, Mr. "85° F is SCORCHING!".
As for the rating, B+; the summer monsoon and polar –30° C winter lows fuck it up big-time.

D. Summer is pointless, washed out and mild, it’s too wet all year and winter is way too long. That March is one of the most depressing things I’ve seen, only 5 f warmer than February and 13 f colder than April

A- or B+
Summers are a tad wet and record highs all year are way too warm or in summer's case, hot.

Your dream climate seems to be getting worse and worse with time. Horrible WAM (Winter Adjacent Months) as well

D. I can only imagine the stifling humid heat in the summer and I'll never understand why people want above freezing highs with sub-freezing lows in the winter. It's the worst of both worlds.

Humid heat? lol And I want above freezing highs and sub freezing lows because I want a non-permanent snowpack, and at least a few days every month that are warm enough to wear nothing but a light pullover or even a t-shirt.

April to October are almost identical the same western MA, which has great warm season. The record cold in the warmer half of the year sucks, likely to create a very short growing season with little benefit of a few random "interesting" nights for weather you get plenty of times the other half of the year. Loses a lush late spring. Bleh.
The not frigid but snowy winters are nice. Summers are too wet. B- almost C+. with a few tweaks would be a borderline A-

Pretty good averages. Probably way too stable though.

Is 28,3°C with 261 mm of rain a cool and dry month for you? Dew points in the summer in my dream climate are usually around 11-16C. Not sticky at all.

By US standards, of course. 16.0° C dew + 28.3° C temp = 47.3% RH, which is indeed very muggy (at least by NSW standards).
