Soon all the leaves are fallen, and now the misery begins. Single digit temps all the time, damp, cold, windy, dark. Worst time of the year. Well that certainly appear to be the case here if you did see the leaves picture I posted previously? Wowsers... just took one windy day and basically half of it fell off in a few hours. Single-digit times seem to already have begun. May well get 1-2 isolated 10-11C days in November but as it feels now it's already unseasonably cold Seems like it's going to be a typical 5/2 misery November.

The useless warmth and humidity is never far off here. Looking to get back to seasonable temps by the end of this week with highs around 28 C and lows of 22 C or so. Fucking hate the fact the useless Caribbean Sea is so close to here. Fuck living at low altitude, low latitude, coastal locations and fuck this fucking climate where having 21 C highs and 12 C lows at the end of October is a near record breaking "cold snap". Fucking pathetic.

No, you'd probably bitch about how warm and humid it is at the end of the week. Lol. Low sun angle, early sunsets and most like 27C highs. Should be alright lol At least better than this polar dump!

I'm sure you wouldn't like the 22-23 C lows though. Also by your standards, the sun angle probably isn't all that low. Today is the first day with a peak sun angle below 50 degrees, but it's more like your late July sun angle here right now with of course, shorter days.

I actually like being outside when it's dark and 19C here and run so why not

With 23 C lows, it wouldn't be 19 C at any point lol. More like still 25-26 C at midnight with high humidity.

We're a day away from November and some people are still waiting for it not to be hot. Tragic.

It won't be that bad this week...80F (27C) highs and 70F (21C) lows are manageable at least. I don't see any day hotter than 83F (28.5C)/ 72F (22C). So much better than the 86F/78F (30C/26C) we were seeing a couple weeks ago. The weather today is a godsend...68F/20C and clear skies here now at 3:00 P.M.

Well, to be fair it's actually quite nice here today. 21 C with low humidity, clear skies and a good breeze. But it will inevitably be warm and humid by Thursday again.
It's annoying how unreliable cool weather is here.

But yeah, at least it's not August/September-like weather anymore.

November just sucks here. Dark and fully overcast, leaves are gone, sideways 1°C rain/sleet/snow. If you get lucky like in the past four years this will continue until March.

The grass is already muddy because of the rain we've had the past few weeks, and apart from a few frosty mornings (plus afternoons if we're lucky) it will most likely stay that way for another six months In wet winters our walking paths can look like this! that picture illustrates everything that i hate about this time of the year.

Right now no qualms with the climate, but this is a placeholder until March/April when the weather is gonna be driving me up the walls

Can we have steady temperatures near the averages in winter months? I'm already getting displeased about this huge swinging pattern by a short period.

What's your favourite climate of all the many places you seem to have spent time in the past few years? Are you in Terre-Haute permanently, or will you be off somewhere else soon?

What's your favourite climate of all the many places you seem to have spent time in the past few years? Are you in Terre-Haute permanently, or will you be off somewhere else soon? Actually, I did not have much interest in the weather subject before I moved to North Carolina. Perhaps once there was a program on the TV cable channel that showed the forecast by typing the zip code, I was randomly typing 852-- then got surprised to see the forecast in the Phoenix area, it was around June or early summer which is usually the hottest temperature of the year occurs in that region. The relentless summer in North Carolina and the behavior of people living in the town were so different from other parts of the country, not only by cultural side but the people there were very exaggerated to respond the coldness which is not even worth to mention in my standard that I feel naturally got interested in geography generally to find various climates around the world. My favorite cities in climate-wise among either lived/temporarily stayed/visited are Paris, London, La Rochelle, Stuttgart, and Puyallup(a small city located 45 minutes southeast of Seattle). I might move back to Paris again next year temporarily though there is no determination for the future plan yet.
