Stability obviously. It's a nightmare to plan for outdoor activities with all this unstable weather. And that often means being wet and cold. Warm temperatures, clear skies are the best. Rainfall at nighttime.

Stability. I like being able to go outside without checking the weather forecast.

Variety for the most part, but I prefer stability if I was going on holidays

I'm somewhere in the middle - don't want a week or more on end of the same weather day in and day out, but I don't want temperatures that are blatantly ridiculous for the time of year either (e.g. 110s F in mid-winter, or 50 F highs in summer). The happy medium would probably be consistent day-to-day variation within a few degrees either way of average (e.g. 88 93 90 92 85 88 93 if the average is 90), with occasional strong upward variation in summer.

Stability easily, because extreme cold anomalies can get fucked. Extreme heat is nice but not necessary, while the absence of extreme cold is essential.

Prefer stable temps. UK gets stable temps but plenty of all sorts of weather so I find it interesting regardless.

I like variety in my own climate, but it should still respect the seasons. I donโt want a 30C afternoon in winter or snowfall in summer. More variety makes the weather more interesting and Iโm glad to live somewhere with a lot of variety.

Stable variety I would say, kind of like SE Australia and New Zealand. Cold enough for real winter feel, but never below 20F ideally. Summers should vary more, but this will come with dry weather, which at any time of year, would be really bad for the environment. Basically like 50/36 for January and 85/60 for July, give or take.
Stability to variety seasons ranked IMO:
Most varied: Autumn Winter Summer Spring
Don't know how realistic it is to have rainy, thundery summers whilst also having more interesting lows at the same time.

The Upper Murray Valley and North Eastern Victoria gets some thundery summer storms AND some of the largest summer diurnals on average in AU. Summer months: Corryong - 11.5c-29.1c, 14.2c-32.3c, 13.1c-30.5c Khancoban - 11.3c-28.4c, 13.7c-31.7c, 13.3c-30.3c

Stability. Australian way of variety is terrible, I don't like a Melbournian type of climate, 44C today and 17C tomorrow...ukhhh!

A fair amount of variety in all seasons is good- but summer nights and winter days should be more stable (to ensure more comfy conditions year-round)
