So you do like a short mild summer then? I thought you would have picked an ET climate I don't care much about summer temps; the most important thing for me is that winters feature sub -35c temps regularly. The only thing I ask for in summer is that it's usually above freezing and below 70f. ET and Dxd are both good climate types; each one has its advantages and I don't prefer one over the other necessarily.

This is hard lol. East Asian isn’t sunny enough, India has some really nice high elevation Himalayan climates but they aren’t hot enough in the summer, Southwest Asia is a big NOPE, as well as northern/interior Asia. Never realized how much Asia sucks until this thread.
Sochi, I guess. Or is that Europe?

Kazan.Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, and that general area is good.
Best climates in other parts of the continent:
Most of Eastern Asia is too dry in winter. Hokkaido is not, and it has climates with the seasonal range I want. I choose Kitami. Asahikawa is just too snowy. Rikubetsu gets impressively cool nights (Cadeau says it's in a valley)
Central Asia tends to be too dry. Talgar (higher elevation near Almaty) gets enough rain and is in a scenic area.
South Asia is too hot. No good climates for me there. The closest is in far northern India in the mountains.
Turkey has some good climates in the northeast, such as Agri, Kars, and Erzurum. These climates have a fall and spring wet season instead of summer. Further south the summer gets drier, closer to a Mediterranean pattern. Examples are Muş and Van.

Aomori City, Japan mainly because of the ass blasting of snow. Summers are okay, massive spring lag which I for some reason like, rapid cooldown at fall I also like. The only thing I don't like is that there is a lot of rain (68 days) at winter, which is pretty gay. Aomori City climate
On the mainland, Nur-Sultan/Astana. Also ass-blasted with snow (more snowy days than Aomori) and incredibly unpredictable [March record high being 72F (22C) while the average high is 28F (-3C)]. Also there is only 7 rainy days at all at winter, which is pretty cool.

Gori, Georgia
Shame there’s no snowfall data bug assuming winter gets a mix of snow and rain this gets a B. Biggest issue is too stable and probably not enough snow/storms but temps are near ideal. Definitely the best Asia has to offer although Georgia has some other decent climates.

It was hard to pick a climate that ticked all the boxes for me in Asia. I think closest would be Visakhapatnam in India. Best balance of temps, rainfall and precipitation.
