I thought that I'd bump some rate the climate/climate battle threads for gordo. Anyways, I'll go with Chiang Rai. Now Mandalay's dryness tempts me to choose it, but its heat and humidity would get tiring after a while. I would've gone with Mandalay if it had a bit more seasonality though (say, 5ยฐF cooler winter means).

They're all boring as fuck, but Bandung has the best climate, especially the 218 thunderstorm days.

Most of these climates are awesomely wet, but too hot. I'm going to go with SaPa due to being cooler.

Either Bangkok or Da Nang for me, but all of these are good.

Sa Pa and quite easily. The only that's not TOTAL shit and at least has a chance of snow.

Bogor, Yangon and Da Lat have good climates but voted Bogor for the rainfall. Sa Pa has good summers but cold winters.

What ? no love for Rangoon ? Whats wrong with you people ! Extreme dry and extreme wet, the contrasts between the seasons, the renewal of life with the first rains, nature coming alive again after the seasonal slumber of the 'dry'. Never mind famine, floods and malaria, this is paradise ! Darwin on steroids.....

Iโll take Mandalay despite the heat as it has a good precipitation pattern for a tropical climate and is the driest of the bunch.

Bandung for being the mildest. It is well moderated and not too extreme. Sunshine hours are okay.
How is Sapa leading? It makes London look like a nice Med climate.

I'm surprised the Philippines was left out of this climate battle. Baguio could give Da Lat a run for its money.
