I'm late to the game, I was too lazy until now. But anyway, there is nothing perfect, but there are lots of good climates in the western US, like the Desert Southwest, the Central/San Joaquin Valleys, or the Inland Empire of California. Bakersfield, Sacramento, Redding, San Bernardino, and Fresno are all excellent climates. Most climates in the US Southeast are decent as well.

Gander, NL, Canada Pleasant Camp, BC, Canada Banff, AB, Canada Talkeetna, AK, United States Glacier National Park Rogers Pass, BC, Canada Have you ever been to Talkeetna or Glacier National Park? Although both subarctic climates, they are very different.
Talkeetna = definition of Dfc. True subarctic climate.
Glacier = Minimal summer precipitation, making it a clear Dsc climate, and it is FAR sunnier year round. Its certainly alpine influenced, versus truly subarctic.
