I reckon South Park for me. Like The Simpsons and Family Guy, it was at its best during the first 10 seasons. First 10 seasons of The Simpsons are legendary and hold a lot of nostalgia for me, anything beyond that is shit. I don't think South Park had a comparable fall-off to The Simpsons or Family Guy, I've watched seasons in the double figures that are as funny as anything they've done. Although I'm not a huge fan of these progressing storylines they seem to do now. I prefer most episodes to be self-contained.

South Park. Family Guy fell off hard after about season 7 or so, I've always found The Simpsons overrated (though still good). Rick and Morty was great seasons 1-2, but wasn't that good after. Honorable mention to The Boondocks, fucking hilarious show, but not quite at SP's level in my opinion.

Some of the best South Park episodes are way beyond Season 7. Season 14 is often cited as being one of the best, for a start.
The Simpsons probably have no truly great episodes beyond Season 8/9. The most catastrophic decline in a show I've seen, but it keeps going.
Family Guy is occasionally funny but has become more low effort. Not that it was ever a masterclass of writing but was always funny. American Dad seems better nowadays.

They have endless material, but I guess that's a bit easier when the premise of the show is to basically make fun of current events that are happening around the world. Yeah, American Dad and Family Guy seem like the opposites of each other. FG started off strong and declined, and vice versa for AD. Seems like Seth McFarlane switched his efforts to American Dad more or just ran out of material for FG. Family Guy nowadays seems to be 100% slapstick comedy.

Seth MacFarlane had American Dad, The Cleveland Show, and some movies. Some point to Futurama as roughly the point where The Simpsons went off a cliff. Resources and creative energies overstretched. But before that they'd gradually lost an all-star writing team, even Conan O'Brien made his name as a Simpsons writer.

I agree re American Dad. The newer ones are better than the old ones. Family Guy was best in the earlier seasons. I actually prefer new American Dad to new Family Guy. The American Dad characters feel more fresh and dynamic with better jokes than the new Family Guy.
South Park around season 9 onwards had some real stinkers, like Licecapades, Stanleys Cup, D-yikes, Britney's new look, the couple of episodes where they deal with Chef's death, and the one where Kyle's dad becomes a dolphin. The same era also had some real gems. I might just be nostalgic toward the early seasons. Some of the episodes in the few seasons before around 20 seemed to try a bit hard with forced swearing and plots.
Anyone ever see Aqua Teen Hunger Force? Oh yeah, and Archer? That is fucking hilarious.

I thought Kyle's dad becoming a dolphin because of Mr Garrison's scrotum was hilarious 😂

Since you made me pick only one, I chose Family Guy, but love American Dad & South Park, watch The Simpsons often too. Used to like Spongebob when I was younger & Beavis & Butthead as well.
