Which Pittsburgh would you prefer? These boxes are the record warmest and coldest days ever (per day), then averaged per month.

Record cold is even a bit too cold for me, but clearly better than record heat.

Record hot is good
Would be interesting to see some comparisons of climates on this basis.. I don’t have daily data for my location that is easily accessible to compare

Any idea of rainfall patterns? For me, summer cold and winter warmth are generally wet, and the opposite is dry. Cross post here please Speagles84. cdweather.boards.net/thread/26/cherrypick-turku?page=5They both suck, but I will pick the cold one and forget summer ever existed. This is assuming even rainfall in each month. If the cold box has heavy rain most days, then I will switch.

Since I used Nowdata to compile all the data, I would have to individually look up each day's precip which I wasn't willing to do.

Warm Pittsburgh. It actually has a summer and is comfortable most of the year. Cold Pittsburgh's summer wouldn't make a bad winter.

Both fucking suck ass but cold is slightly better. Even then, it's boringly unvariable and winter is far too cold with a shit record high. Even Barrow has a far better record high but colder winter averages.
