What year are you up to now? Are you getting close? Doing the year 2011 tonight, then will calculate the averages on 26th February. Ah, 2011... *gets all nostalgic* I'm working on year 11 right now in mine myself...kind of an interesting coincidence!

Hard one because both of these are great, but I'll go with Brisbane for the above freezing record lows. Brisbane ( the City site ) has never recorded a sub zero minimum. The Airport, however, ( and closer to the sea ) recorded a -0.1c in July 2007. And you don't have to travel too far ( 30-35klm )into the outer suburbs to record freezing min temps in winter. Ipswich and Amberly RAAF out west come to mind as does Samford to the north west. Amberley May -3.1c, June -4.3c, July -4.8c, August -4.9c Samford May 1.7c, June -1.7c, July -2.7c, August -3.5c
