Broome for me. Most of these are good climates. Perfffffff is still a pretty good climate but I hear from good authority it is full of derpoids. Finally someone else breaks the consensus! Perth seems quite similar to your old (2013-2015) dream climates. I like it too, but I'd prefer somewhere a few degrees warmer year-round and with better storm potential. Broome region can get some terrific storms, but the frequency is much less on the coast than inland in the Kimberleys.

greysrigging cool picture! I love the dark clouds in the background, and the contrast they create against the color of the sand on the beach. Seems like a very desolate area left mostly in its natural state. Coincidentally, that picture was taken the day after my 20th birthday; on the day the picture was taken (a Saturday), I had lunch with my grandmother to celebrate. I'm certain the weather in Broome that day was a lot better than it was up here!

December is a notoriously hot time of the year in Broome, so very little traffic and/or people. The main tourist season is during the winter months.

I'd have to see storm data before finalising my decision, but Broome seems to have he best overall precipitation pattern, sunshine levels with high temperatures
