Fort McM.... not for its climate, but its the nearest thing culturally and socio-economically to Karratha in the Pilbara

Grande Prairie is the best. They are all decent to pretty good, GP has the best continentalility, warm summers with cool winters, decent amounts of snow and rain during the summer.

Medicine Hat, eh? It comes the closest to having a summer. All of them have shitty cold winters though.

Close between Medicine Hat and Calgary for me. Calgary has more snow, more precipitation, more thunderstorms, and warmer winters (which are all good) but medicine hat has far less crummery summers. I think I’ll go with Calgary overall.

Grand Prairie. The summers aren't washed out like some of the others and the winters are good. Lots of thunderstorms, rivalling even Darwin.

Medicine Hat is the only one with acceptable summers.

Calgary has the highest of the coldest month's average mean, plus an average summer day must feel amazing compared to Medicine Hat.

Probably Medicine Hat.
Warmest summers of the lot, plus winters are fairly cool/snowy even if they are susceptible to the occasional chinook. Would be better if that spring and fall snowfall could be more concentrated in the winter though.

Waking up to snow in May is probably not very pleasant, though I bet some people like it.

Medicine Hat for sure, it's by far one of the better climates in Canada by my standards. The rest are all pretty weak.
