100F/38C on June 21st. The first 100F since 2012. Highest in the area: 100 at Milwaukee and Racine airports. Lowest in the area: 90 at Sheboygan WWTP Highest in the state: 100 at the same 2 places. Lowest in the state: 88 at Washington Island in the far NE. Often the warmest temperature is in the western part of the state. Milwaukee is more likely to get warmer nights instead of warmer days. Washington Island is a common "cool" spot since it's an island in Lake Michigan. During the June heatwave it only reached 83. Sheboygan WWTP is on the lake also. Another possible spot, Madeline island in Lake Superior, had too much missing data. Not at all surprised Washington Island didn't hit 90 this summer. Here in Madison, 96 F (36 C) on June 14 - the warmest temperature of the year was even before the start of astronomical summer, something that seems to be becoming all too common these days. My old hometown of Appleton hit 94 F (34 C) on June 14 and 21 - another summer without any hot days... |

29.5C (85F) on November 9 What’s the latest first 30C for Melbourne? Without delving too deep.... Last year ( 2021 ), the first 30c temp was on the 30th Nov. 2019 - three +30c days in Oct. 2017 - first +30c day was on 23rd Sept. 2015 - six +30c days in Oct and fifteen in total by the end of Nov. |

29.5C (85F) on November 9 What’s the latest first 30C for Melbourne? I have this graph saved from 2019, which illustrates when the first 30 degree day occurs in spring/summer. The latest was 29th December in 2001, so almost at the end of the year! 2020 - November 3 2021 - November 30 2022 - Not forecasted to reach 30C anytime soon, which means it will likely be the 12th such spring  |
