Forgot to post earlier. 90.1°F @ my PWS, 93.9°F @ Ciampino AP, both occurring Monday (June 28th). 40.6°C at West Vancouver (i'm using this as my station since my balcony temps cannot be too reliable at peak heating)

Still 26.2°C on 16th June. There's nothing over 21°C in the forecast, so very unusual flat lining temperatures for the time of year. The normal highest maximum temperature by this time of year would reach 29-30°C.

Officially, 40.0C on July 2nd. However that afternoon it said 40.5C but for some reason the next morning Environment Canada retroactively downgraded it to 40.0C. So I don't know what's up with that.

That’s due to the fact that ECCC use a different station for hourly temps than for daily. They do this at a lot of locations. Looks like the NavCan station was the one that hit 40.5C climate.weather.gc.ca/climate_data/daily_data_e.html?StationID=50091Looks like you got a -40 to 40C in a matter of 5 months, nice. Wonder if any other location in the world (Outside the prairies) has achieved that this year?

So we've now officially gone from -41.4C on February 7th to 40.5C on July 2nd, an 81.9C temperature change in just under five months. Not too many places in the world where you can experience that, that's for sure!

90F happened June 28 2021, but it was broken hitting 91F on June 29 2021 91F is still the highest for my backyard as of 7/12/2021, but...
I have now experienced a new personal record high - 106F (41.1C) Pinnacles National Park, California on July 8th, beating my old record of 103F in Death Valley National Park, California on May 4th, 2019.
EDIT: Note, this was also my first experience crossing the 40C mark.
