First up is Chéticamp, in Cape Breton. Besides Ingonish, it is the closest climate data for Cape Breton Highlands as far as I know. Visited back in September 2019. Love it there although it's not my favorite climate in this selection. Next up is Fort Smith in the south of NWT, representing Wood Buffalo National Park (which is in northern Alberta). Glacier National Park in southcentral BC. I've driven through here in late December and yes, it was extremely snowy. Jasper in west-central Alberta. Never been there but I'd love to. Didn't include Banff since it is so similar to Jasper. Kootenay in southeast BC. Never been here either but I may visit soon... Last but not least is Val-Marie in southern Saskatchewan, representing Grasslands National Park. ---------------- This is a very tough choice since all are decent climates. I'll have to go with Jasper though.

I guess Cape Breton Highlands for being the warmest They get some impressively nasty blizzards there. And the occasional hurricane/tropical storm.

I’ve been to Jasper and Kootenai, both great places!
Val Marie wins the battle

Maybe Grasslands (Val-Marie)
But gee, all are quite horrible.

The landscapes may be awesome in these parks but the climates are all epic fails. I abstain my vote.

Cheticamp for being wet, and not having crummy summers like Glacier. Thanks so much for doing this!

These are all horrific, either E or F grades. Kootenay for the best summers of the bunch, but it still sucks.

Canadian Rockies for me. Sharp relief with dramatic wall of snowcapped mountains all over the Canadian Rockies.

Val-Marie for being the most balanced one. Was tempted to choose Fort Smith (Wood Buffalo NP) for its continentality and Glacier NP for its snowfall, but Val-Marie has the best temps.

Kootenay west gate. Nice, balanced 4 season climate with cool/snowy winters and relatively mild/dry summers.

Kootenay if the sunshine is similar to Jasper. Nearby Golden, BC has 1493 hrs sunshine. Maybe has horizon obstruction issues, but I doubt the sunshine is good anyways.
Cheticamp is in a very exposed position, probably very windy. Too wet, snowy, and cloudy as well, but is the mildest.
Val Marie is too dry and colder than those two, but does have the best sunshine. Tough choice between these three bad climates and a few worse ones.
