Mountainous areas of Yemen ? Exactly! This picture is in Bura'a Nature Reserve during the wet season. The same place during the dry season looks fully brown. Bura'a Nature Reserve is located in western Yemen and has one of the last remaining tropical forests in the Arabian Peninsula. |

It is Cradle Mountain, in the Western Tiers ( North West Tassie ). my son visited in August 2014 during a warm spell hence no snow. i visited in late Dec 2014 during a summer cold spell... only 8c and raining when I was there.... My son's mates swimming in icy cold Dove Lake ( Cradle Mountain ) in Aug 2014.  |
