This is it. The last national park climate battle. Don't worry, they're all terrible. #56. Dry Tortugas (62,499 visitors) #57. Katmai (49,826 visitors) #58. American Samoa (38,362 visitors) #59. North Cascades (31,630 visitors) #60. Isle Royale (22,373 visitors). The RAWS station on Isle Royale would have been more representative, but there would be no snowfall data. #61. Lake Clark (16,088 visitors) #62. Kobuk Valley (14,578 visitors) #63. Gates of the Arctic (8,841 visitors)

Only been to north cascades of this list.
Thatโs 36/63 parks Iโve been to, more than half.
These all suck, I guess fuck it, Iโll pick Lake Clark.

I will have to go with Wiseman (Gates of the Arctic).
I've been there and also King Salmon (Katmai) but would prefer Wiseman for sure despite the colder and longer winters.

Dry Tortugas obviously. The rest are all barely fit for a polar bear.

American Samoa obviously. Good temperatures with very good rainfall. I rate it as A+.

Dry Tortugas
Not terrible at all. Good temps, decent precip, all around not a bad climate.
Interesting that so many of the least-visited parks are in Alaska - there's a lot of beautiful stuff up there but people must find it too remote and/or the climate to shitty to want to actually go there.

North Cascades. IMO this is a much better selection overall than the previous NP battle(s).

Lake Clark, but there are a couple good ones to choose from here. Isle Royal is pretty great too

Gates of the Arctic for being the snowiest, most continental one. Was gonna choose Grand Portage (Isle Royale) but Wiseman's summers are almost as warm while having better winters. Was close between the two, however.

Iโll go with North Cascades, not a bad climate, but could use to be 5 or 10 degrees warmer in all seasons. Dry Tortugas is a close second, it is quite good for a tropical climate, being dry most of the year. Best in FL, easily.

Dry Tortugas is about as far as you can get from your preferred temperature profile in the whole state, and the Panhandle has winters much more akin to your dream climate's (in terms of both rainfall and temperatures).

The Panhandle climates lack a good dry season, and if Iโm in FL, I want a tropical climate. In other words, Iโd rather visit Dry Tortugas but Iโd rather live in the Panhandle.
