I agree. Tommy had some very interesting contributions, like that full on weather station he rigged for his car, and I never seen anything offensive or absurd from him.
Unfortunately, it seems he drank the AW Koolaid. I'm moving house, and will eventually need a proper weather station, he could've been a real resource for ideas and advice.
