Pretty much every climate has been done multiple times over. Battles between fictional climates however can be very interesting. |

Other people: make a bunch of threads that get people participating, forum is more active
Person A: bbbut that doesn’t count, I didn’t mean that kind of activity, plus the shout box is still dead
People: come in and have discussions on the shoutbox, it’s pretty active

Seems like the issue is more a shortage of the very specific things these people like rather than the lack of activity overall. Some of you just will never be satisfied

Activity is a tiny fraction of what it was on C-D when the WF veterans were all there. Some of the current regs weren't there yet but activity was an order of magnitude higher due to the larger pool of posters.
C-D before 2017 >>>> WWF

I've always been a weather nerd....mostly stats and data and historical stuff.
Rarely do I participate in fictional climates and have never made one, nor am I likely to. My brain just not wired that way...( see above re facts and stats )
I've liked geographical, historical, demographic, social sciences as well as climatology, so I like climatic comparisons that have elements of all the topics i'm interested in.
Oh, if there is a piss take element that can be introduced into the subject, well I'm up for that as well.

The gatekeeping on here doesn't help. People complain about lack of activity, but then complain about any activity that they don't personally find interesting. Critcising the activity patterns of other members activity will just demotivate them from being active on the forum.
