Battle of the two greatest American pre-Columbian civilizations. The capital of the Aztec Empire was Tenochtitlan, which is located in present day Mexico City. The capital of the Inca empire was located in Qusqu, or Cusco in English. Which empire will take home the title of having the best climate in the capital city?

I'd also say Mexico City. Beats Cusco in pretty much every category. Though Cusco has impressive thunderstorms during the wet seasons if you're into that

Cusco, due to the aforementioned thunderstorms and frosty winter nights.
This was a tough one though.

CDMX (Aztecas) by a landslide, for having actual summers and seasonal temperature variation instead of Cusco's year round gayness.

I almost choose Cusco then changed my mind to MX City after reading Gior's comment.

Ciudad de Mรฉxico clearly wins here... for being lower altitude and warmer year round.

Mexico City. It has more variation and is closer to my ideal temp range anyway, and is also wetter. Thunderstorms don't seem to be a good reason to choose either of these. I'm not sure of Cusco's storm averages, but Mexico City averages 61 thunderstorm days per year.

Cusco has a better chance of a good freeze in winter. But I hate the altitude. I have been there, the first day I found it hard to breathe.
