Which place do you think has a better climate: Ho Chi Minh City: Mumbai Santacruz: I used Santacruz to compare Airport to Airport. Santacruz in Mumbai is like EWR in the NYC metro, has a significant UHI. I'm not sure about the UHI for Ho Chi Minh City Airport. I'd choose Mumbai only because there is a rare chance for mild dry weather in winter (Like in Dec 2013 when it was in the mid 50's overnight with a nice breeze). In Ho Chi Minh city, there is no chance of a break in winter. Both climates suck though. Too hot for way too long.

Mumbai's dry season is too long, so HCMC.

Bombay easily for its longer dry season aka longer period of comfortable weather. Saigon looks even more humid.

Mumbai's dry season is too long, so HCMC. I thought you liked cooler overnight temps though. Ho Chi Minh city is hot humid fuck all year long. Not that Mumbai is much better, but there is an outside chance it would be more comfortable if you happen to be there during a below normal period in winter.

It's Hanoi you fucking commies. Hanoi and Ho chi minh city are 2 different places with different climates. I believe Ho Chi Minh city was called Saigon.

Yeah, you're right, my bad.
So: It's Saigon you fucken commies.
edit: and I'll go with Mumbai, it gets at least a bit of relief of the heat in "winter" during the nights.

Ariete strewth! but read my last post on this thread, where I mentioned why Saigon is clearly the inferior climate.
It's also Bombay not Mumbai. Rule Britannia!

British Rule can get fucked. They used shitty unfair means to make to make their weak dicks look superior. These are the same people who think 25 C is a hot day and 30 C is a heatwave, and that too with dry heat.

Both climates are very good but I choose Mumbai for having more rainfall.

This is how you get the infamous "POLAR BLAST to SHIVER Great Britain as MET OFFICE forecasts -2C in LONDON!" or "Britain to BAKE in multiple days of 25C HEATWAVE!"

Mumbai simply for the incredible contrasts between 'Wet Season' and 'Dry Season' ! You have to experience it to savour the overwhelming sense of anticipation and joy as the first rains blow in....the smell of โpetrichorโ in the air after 5 rainless months. The transformation of the countryside from arid wastelands to tropical lushnes in the blink of an eye almost....ahhh, paradise ! Ho Chi Minh is OK too. My son has spent a lot of time in S E Asia including Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok, and as a fella born and bred in Darwin, he says both those Asian cities I have mentioned have a more torrid climate than Darwin, so one would suspect a fair amount of UHI in the huge Asian and Subcontinent cities.

Both are disgustingly hot anyways, guess the western coast of India sees fewer thunderstorms than other areas, Mumbai it is.
