It’s definitely closer to Ocala climatically. DC lacks all the features that make Bunghole suck, like the extreme snow and putrid spring warmups. Its annual mean is more similar to Ocala as well.

DC's mean may be closer to Ocala, but I think climatically it's closer to bunghole because of regular freezing temps in winter, and potential for yearly snow (although not much of it). That would be enough to make the landscape look dormant, like many other cities in the upper south which lie along the Continental/subtropical line.
Ocala lies along the Subtropical/tropical line, since it's winter mean is close to 64 F (18 C).

Binghamton because the actually city has a mean of around 50, and DC outside UHI is even cooler … so yeah much much closer to bunghole .

Binghamton for sure. No Ocalan is going to to feel at home in a Washington from November to March.

DC is much closer to Bunghole outside the 4-5 warmest summer months.

Fun fact: DC and Ocala have had freezes in the exact same months: October thru April, exclusively. Bunghole has seen them in May and September. That tells you what you need to know: shoulder seasons in Bunghole are fucking anemic.

It’s more similar to Binghamton but I’d classify it as subtropical with Ocala.

I used the residual sum of squares to find which climate is more similar temperature-wise. Both are about the same, but Binghamton is slightly more similar.

Dulles is definitely much more similar to Bunghole than Ocala. DC proper is similar to Ocala during summer, but a completely different world in winter, so hard to say. It would "feel" more like Bunghole I guess because of the winters and more similar vegetation to Bunghole.
