September was warmer and drier than average. The highs were much warmer than average, tying for 9th warmest on record. The lows, however, were near average. September had 20 90°F (32°C) days, which is more than July had this year, and the 7th most on record. This was also the first September since 2000 to have the hottest temperature of the year. It was the 7th driest September on record and the driest since 1956. The first 2/3 of the month felt like summer, but the last 1/3 felt more fall-like, albeit still warm. If the last day hadn't been so cool, it would've been only the second September ever to not have a high below 80°F (27°C).

Temps averaged near normal (-0.2F). Precip above normal (+2.97"). Was summer-like with heat and humidity to start the month and mid-month. Had two periods of low humidity and cooler nights. Received some heavy rainfall from Hurricane Nicholas on Sept 14. I got a good bit more rain than the airport with 9.78" for the month (I received more from training t-storms the evening of Sept 5 and also got more from Hurricane Nicholas). Lowest max: 77F Highest min: 76F Days 90F or above: 13 Days with thunder: 7 Highest dewpoint: 78F Lowest dewpoint: 49F Average dewpoint: 67.7F

212% of the normal precipitation for Toronto Pearson Airport... September is usually known for a dry sunny month but definitely not this year.

Was a warmer and much wetter than average September, although it didn’t really feel wet as over 75% of the month’s rainfall came on Sep 1 courtesy of Hurricane Ida remnants. LGA Airport (Values/Departures from average)

Slightly warmer than average, sunny and dry; a pretty great month overall. Started very variable with great swings between mid 20s and low teens, sunny weather, wet weather, windy and cloudy. The final week of the month was fairly stable, dry and generally sunny. Here there are also my summaries, particularly late this time... Starting from the closest weather station to my village: Turin city center, closer to where I live now As a reference, Turin airport: Comparing these last stats with the 71/00 averages, the temps were 2.7/2.6°C warmer than the historical average and the prec were the 41% of the average.
