Virginia and NC are so heavily skewed down by the high elevation stations in the summer . Makes it much less continental looking on an annual basis due to smaller range form coldest to warmest month . Miss is good .

Nebraska. Missouri and New Mexico are also pretty good though.

Mississippi, more precipitation, lower rain days, warmer.

North Carolina. Mississippi summers would feel a good deal more humid and oppressive, though MS has milder, wetter winters which is a plus.

Nebraska very easily. Much better in (almost) every way than the other shit holes.

Tough choice but I'll go with Mississippi for the best temps, even if the wettest. NM's got nights a bit chilly

Nebraska. A bit too warm for me, but the best with cold winters and warm/hot summers, and likely the snowiest. All the rest are too mild in winter.

Tough choice but I'll go with Missouri for the comfortable winters and decent enough rainfall. If precipitation didn't matter, I would probably go with New Mexico. Mississippi's rainy winters look nice.

Nebraska and New Mexico are way too dry IMO, and Mississippi looks hotter than the climate that I live in now, but not by much. This makes grass look uglier in the winter due to the summer highs. North Carolina is more balanced, but no reliable snow. Missouri seems like a middle of the road climate, but maybe too cold? Also, NC has more than just the Piedmont areas, they also have the coastal parts which has the northernmost truly subtropical climate: the Outer Banks.

Missouri is the best, even though winter is a touch too cold and dry.
