Darwin Airport March 2022. A disappointing 'wet season' month.....very dry compared to the long term means. The Airport can expect 310.7mm in March ( median is actually 278.2mm ), so the total of 176.2mm is substantially below average and only 56.7% of what we could expect. The first fortnight of March was particularly dry, with only 6.6mm of rain recorded. As one would expect with the below average rainfall and clearer skies, both max and min temps were above average Min temps averaged 25.7c ( +1.1c ) and ranged from a low of 22.6c on the 14th and a high of 28.6c on the 6th. Max temps averaged 33.4c ( +1.4c ) and ranged from a low of 31.2c on the 17th and a high of 36.0c on the 9th. The 36c recorded equalled the previous highest March max temp recorded in 1942. The Airport has recorded 921.4mm since Jan 1st, which is 189.6mm below the means for the first 3 months of the year. March 2022 Summary, Sheffield. March was drier, milder and sunnier than average. The first week was cold and the second week was milder. The third week was a bit cool then mild, then the fourth week had high pressure and lots of sun with warm temperatures. In the end days it went cold with snow showers.   |

Cadeau There is this which archives hourly/sub-hourly observations (not quite daily max/mins) for non-airport sites for most of Italy; you have to sign up to access data from over 10 days ago though. Most sites seem decent but a few aren't trustworthy. If you are looking for stats from airport sites, just look at stats from any METAR data search platform (e.g. NCEI or Ogimet), there ain't any climate/airport sites in Cefalù or Taormina.

March here was warmer than average with above average sunshine. Much of the month was dry but rainfall ended up a little above average, being skewed by two especially wet days. The first half of the month saw below or average temperatures & the second half saw a warm & settled spell with well above average temperatures. On the 16th we had 'blood rain' from airborne Saharan dust & the 31st saw snow flurries & graupel. Stats from my PWS Av. Max 13.3C (+2.3C)* Av. Another warm and stable month, continuing the 2022 trend. Temperatures were above average, especially minimums. Last month's average low of 15.2°C was only 0.1°C short of the record warmest March average minimum. The 10.3°C absolute low was the warmest on record, making this the only March where the temperature has not dropped below 10°C. Rainfall was well above average, but this was mainly due to one storm event that brought 40+mm of rain.
Overall, last month wasn't too bad, but lows could've ideally been cooler and more storms/heavy rain events would have been nice.

 -0.3F cooler than normal (highs were 1.6F above normal with lows 2.1F below normal). Precip was 2.95" above normal. Had two strong cold fronts the 2nd week of the month (first one brought some chilly rain and 2nd one brought some cool, dry conditions). Fairly active month with some strong storm systems. Had significant severe threats on March 22 and 30. Didn't get anything severe on the 22nd. On the 30th, tornado warnings were issued as a squall line came thru (got some strong wind). Stretches of pleasant weather between storm systems. Lowest max: 49F Highest min: 68F Days with thunder: 7 Max dewpoint: 68F Min Dewpoint: 19F Average dewpoint: 47F ![]()  |

Warmer, drier, sunnier than average. A good month overall.
The sunniest place of Germany was Ennigerloh in Westphalia with 270 h. 16 places in NE Germany didn't record any precipitation at all.
