F, freezes in all months and very snowy, never gets consistently warm. Somehow worse than Darwin, AU, even.

D-. "Summers" atleast have comfortable highs, despite the wintery lows even in July. I like how it snows more than most of the US, but even then, it's way too much. Also, it looks very dry so idk what can grow there besides grass and some hardy trees like birch, aspen, and spruces. To put things into perspective, this is basically like Alaska but even worse, considering of how cold continential the lows can get ON AVERAGE.

FLook at those average lows! Subfreezing average lows 10 months of the year, never gotten to 90 F (32 C) on record, continental dogshit in general. Yuck!

E-
Summer highs save it, in addition to (I presume) decent sunshine hours. I reserve cold F climates for subpolar, gloomy, wet crap near the arctic.

F+. Snowfall and warmish afternoons in July and August are the only positive things here. I don't think I'll be renting this ranch anytime soon.

This climate deserves an E-, as the summer highs save it from being an F. However, freezing nights in the middle of summer will likely kill many plants, and that is just ridiculous.

E+ for being a subalpine place with at least decent summer highs and sunshine
