Located at 1100 feet in elevation in southwestern Virginia in a valley.. like Shenandoah! Is this beautiful place. Very moderate place. I was inspired by my trips to the mountains. Its infectious. I prefer a bit more stability though so I added that. Other than that not too dissimilar to somewhere in south western va like Roanoke. Only thing i would change again is make summer dews lower to be more reasonable. Pretend july has an average dew of 65 lol

B-
Still too cool in the winter and shoulder seasons for my tastes but I'm feeling generous and this place does everything else right.

B. overall decent. would want the summer dews at least 5ยฐF lower. Winter temperatures are ok since it's short but it's an annoying in between of too warm for snow but too cold for sitting outside comfortably. but the winters aren't that long so doesn't matter too much.

B-. Good average temps and storms but lacks snow and too stable. Also too humid in summer

C-, not bad, but not great either. Summers are nice, but shoulder seasons and winters are too warm. And not enough snow. But overall not terrible.

B-, decent temperature profile with good spring warmups, but much too rainy and humid in summer

D.
Typical for SE US - winters too cool for their latitude and summers absurdly wet and humid (although this city isn't the worst case)

A. It's actually a really great climate! It could only be improved by a bit more winter snow, wetter springs and slightly lower summer dew points and temperatures.

Youโll be jealous of my wonderful summer crops on your sub arctic mountain top. Or perhaps you can grow the greens for the summer and Iโll grow the cukes and tomatoโs then you come down the mountain with the greens and we make a salad .

I hate tarlife but this climate is an A-; May is slightly too warm, but as a native Virginian, this is a very good climate to live in, even if snow is not regular.

It gets a B- from me. It has proper summers and the winters seem to get a decent number of warm days too (judging by "mean maximum") along with some snow. It also gets a respectable number of thunderstorm days and no month is really gloomy.

B+ I would like colder winters and more snow, but it's great otherwise.
