Such detestable climates, not because they're furnaces (they're more like steamy saunas) but because they're cloudy and extremely muggy. Maybe I'll go with Nanjing for being the "sunniest", but that isn't saying much.

Damn, is Chongqing really that cloudy? I'm always impressed by how cloudy some of these East Asian climates can be in winter despite being very dry.
Not much between the other two. I might pick Wuhan for more summer storms?

Yes it's really cloudy (less than 1000 sun hours!!) - but it also has the warmest winters of the bunch and the least-washed-out summer monsoon period.
