Most Koreans tend to associate Japan only on the Pacific coast side(Tokyo-Nagoya-Osaka-Hiroshima-Fukuoka) despite they are the largest group of tourists in Japan. Typically high 10/low 2°C coldest month, high 32/low 24°C warmest month.

Here are some more stereotypical fictional climates I made (not entirely accurate) of different countries/states: Mexico: A BWh Cwa/ Csa climate with two highly variable wet seasons: one cool, driven by showers, one very hot, driven by hurricanes. Inspired by Mexicali + Culiacán
Iran: A highly continental BSk ( Dsa if wetter), with slushy winters and unforgiving, Death Valley-esque summers. Inspired by Borujen + Ahvaz Maybe it’s different in Australia but no one here thinks of Iran as having cold winters with snow. The stereotype is more like Ahvaz. Similarly, no one stereotypes Mexico as having snow and freezes in winter. Either a tropical climate like Acapulco or a Death Valley-like desert are the stereotypes I’ve seen.

Stereotypes (not entirely accurate) of different countries/US states! South Korea: A classic Dwa with four distinct seasons, with an intense summer monsoon and noticeable seasonal lag. Inspired by Seoul Florida: A two-seasoned Am with warm, dry winters and plentiful sunshine. Freak summer hurricanes and thunderstorms are frequent. Inspired by MiamiGeorgia: Central Florida-esque Cfa with tropical summers and very mild winters. Good beach weather between rain or cold events. Inspired by BrunswickMinnesota: A bottom-end Dfb/ Dfc with short, mild + sunny summers and long, frigid winters dumped in snowfall. Inspired by International Falls
Texas: A subtropical BSh ( Cfa if wetter) that is a desert for 90% of the year, and flooded by hurricanes for the other 10%. Inspired by Laredo New York: Another Dfb climate with a strongly delayed spring, and is bombarded with lake-effect snow. Inspired by Old Forge Oregon: A bi-seasonal Cfb/ Csb with omnipresent cold rain showers in winter and a good amount of summer sunshine. Inspired by Astoria California: A consistently warm BWh ( Csa if wetter) with great beach weather for most of the year. Inspired by Baja California's west coast
