This is another one that is too close to call. I think I will give it to Texas by a hair for warmer average winters and even though, it can get colder than Hillston in winter, the mean minimum for the year is likely pretty close.

Hillston- more arid and continental than ideal, but better temps and likely sunshine made me vote NSW

Hillston for cooler average temperatures every month. And they receive certain amount of precipitation so that's not a dealbreaker.
