Finally made a "dream climate" that falls into these parameters. It just reaches the 22 degree mean. In order to achieve this without being hot it needs very small diurnals, and in order to be "realistic" this means it gets lots of misty conditions to create these small diurnals, hence the low sunshine hours. But these low sunshine hours won't bother me being used to the UK and with the mild temperatures year round. The rainfall is seasonal to add some interest so it isn't even more monotonous. That’s the most cursed climate I’ve ever seen.

I'll be posting my actual dream climate at the end of this year when I've done it as I make it in real time. It has a lot more sun than this. This is still very comfortable temperatures for me personally, rather than Vostok for example.

It's impossible to make a good climate under the mentioned circumstances (T(C) = 25< X >22, P(mm) = 1500< Y > 1000), so I made the best climate I could. It ended up being horrible, but it was the best I could make under those requirements. Here's my dream climate with an average annual temperature of 22C and precipitation of 1000mm. The climate type is an unique variant of Hot Summer Mediterranean (Csa), which is not found anywhere on Earth. Notice how I concentrated most of the precipitation in winter to make the hot summers more bearable. The reason why I made summers that hot was to give the location something that resembles an Autumn/Spring. As long as I have a decent aircon unit, I wouldn't mind those summers as long as the other half of the year is comfortable. The low sunshine hours during winter are a side effect of the highly concentrated precipitation.

That's basically my dream climate, but with MUCH hotter summers. The warming I did to fit this scenario was more uniform across the seasons.

Just found this thread. I didn't want some 'mild' climate with 22C means each month so I ended up with this lol. Lows are definitely too warm year round, the highs I could do though.

This is what I came up with that satisfied the conditions. I wanted some seasonality without any month being too hot, so this is a good compromise I reckon.

Tried my best to make a climate that's both Mediterranean and monsoonal.

Reminds me of Brisbane but with a better precipitation pattern. Tried my best to make a climate that's both Mediterranean and monsoonal. I like this a lot! Interesting idea, and one I've toyed with myself in making various iterations of my dream climate over the years.

Here is my warm dream climate, bordering on humid subtropical and tropical according to Köppen. It was inspired by Southeast Queensland climates such as Brisbane and Gladstone; and fits within the restrictions. Citivia de Litto (Beach City in Latin) is located at 25ºS an a fictional planet with less axial tilt (17º), but identical mean temperature. The continent is long and narrow, similar to modern-day Chile. The city can grow a variety of fruits and vegetables; and has a thriving fishing industry thanks to the relatively cool waters of the sea. Summers are long, very warm and humid, but are continuously tempered by southerly sea breezes (averaging 20-25 km/h). Mornings typically are mild and sunny; where westerly winds rapidly increase the temperature by the afternoon. The afternoon sea breeze starts at 1 pm, bringing in downpour and t-storms on many days, which are short-lived (a few hours). Despite the storms, the 'early-riser' culture makes swimming a popular past-time for locals and tourists alike. ACs are not too common, as buildings are bright, full of rooftop vegetation and encourage air flow from the breeze. Winters are short, warm and world-renowed for their warm, sunny conditions. Tourists flock to the city during the winter; as the city is a gateway to coral reefs, surfing; while having several maritime museums showcasing the marine fauna and flora. Occasionally, temperatures can get a little cool at night, but no need for heaters! I would give this a B, as the cool half of the year is excellent. However, summers are a little too warm and long, and those aren't even winters (although really nice)! At least the nights are a little cooler year-round to reduce sultriness. Wouldn't mind living there, at least climate-wise.

CRISPR that climate is amazing I like the culture of this place from the way you described it too. Can we make it a sister city to my own Tropic City?
