^^ Actually I'm fair dinkum gobsmacked 4 members have voted for Portland, Victoria ! Astounding !! The only thing more 'out there' would be Beercules being number 5...... By global standards, Portland VIC isn't that bad. The changeable summers are annoying but not a deal breaker. I've spent time in Melbourne before so I have some experience with the climate of this area. I second this statement, even though I didn't vote for Portland VIC. I've been down there in mid-January before, where it was around 20 degrees and mostly cloudy. On paper, that might seem like 'crummer' weather, but it didn't strike me as unpleasant (apart from being a little windy by the coast). But then again, I'm a southern Victoria native so I'm pretty used to it lol.

I still do decades later.... Summer....and 20c ? Yeah nah...doesn't cut it ... lol

Frankly they all have good climates but I'll go with Maine for the chilly wet/snowy winters and highest precip out of the three.

One of the less horrible humid climates in Texas

One of the less horrible humid climates in Texas I didn't create this battle, but yeah, Portland TX would have been an interesting addition. It's very different to the other three Portlands.

Portland, TN is another climate that could've been included in this battle. Snowfall is likely BS though, Bowling Green, KY just 30 miles north averages 10" / 25.4 cm a year.

Maine. Oregon has better average temperatures but Maine is better in every other way

I don't really like any of them, but I'll take OR here. Horrible winters but summers seem fairly consistently warm and sunny. Portland, TN is another climate that could've been included in this battle. Snowfall is likely BS though, Bowling Green, KY just 30 miles north averages 10" / 25.4 cm a year. Yeah, that would easily beat any of these Portlands

Portland OR (C) for having warm + dry summers, while not having freezing winters (though still cold, wet and cloudy).

I said Oregon before but this time I'll choose VIC just barely assuming it has sunnier winters
