Going with California here. Washington's not bad either, but it's too damp, cool and cloudy for too long.

Chose the Ohio one over the Washington one, mainly due to the cloudiness as well as lack of snow on average. Never considered the CA one cause of the hot, dry summer highs.

The California Marysville. I like the heat and seasonal rainfall variation. As an aside there is town in the upper Yarra Valley of Victoria ( AU ) named Marysville. A stunningly picturesque mountain town north east of Melbourne, Marysville was destroyed by a bushfire during the Feb 2009 'Black Saturday' disaster that killed 45 people in the small town.

The Californian one looks quite good, perfect temps and a Mediterranean precipitation pattern.

The Californian one looks quite good, perfect temps and a Mediterranean precipitation pattern. Sacramento valley climates are very underrated because theyโre really hot in the summer, which most people donโt prefer, especially not people in the Bay Area.

Itโs definitely hot there in summer but not horrific. Iโm presuming that itโs a very dry heat, and it cools down well at night. I prefer hot summers anyway though.

I dunno, I got heat exhaustion once in a similar weather/climate. Itโs not fun.
