Redwood City is a city in the San Francisco Bay Area. Its motto is "Climate best by government test." The story goes that a government study found three places on Earth with the best climate: the Canary Islands, the North African Mediterranean coast, and anything within 20 miles of Redwood City. Redwood City
Redwood beats out Las Palmas for having higher rainfall. Algiers is great October through May but the summers are too hot.

Las Palmas is gorgeous, and Algiers is pretty good. But I'll give the edge to LP for being sunnier in winter and drier.

Because I am a fair weather fan. Las Palmas is basically fair weather central Candle's shitposting - but I know he doesn't like extended periods of boring mild sunny weather. His ideal climates tend to be either subarctic or else milder variants of wet tropical climates. |
