This weatherbox is from the centre city (like Kaisaniemi), so it's a bit milder in winter than the more inland suburbs. The lows in summer are also a tad higher.

Perkele Saatanaa where's the poll? C. Obviously better than Nykรถping but a bit too muggy in summer and too cold winters for my liking, even though I like those low diurnals. Bring summer humidity and lows down 4C and it's a C+ climate.

B-, a touch too cold in winter but still a well-balanced climate with nice summers and shoulder seasons. Although less summer humidity and slightly milder lows would be welcome.

A- from me, very good in general, but yeah those summers do look sticky and the heatwaves too hot. Does this place get a foehn effect, re. those winter record highs?

C. Similar to Rochester with slightly warmer springs.

Record highs in summer months are huge turn-off though slightly better version of Boston.
Edit: Oops, forgot to rate the climate. I give grade B-.

I originally forgot the poll, boke, but there it is now... I also forgot by the looks of it but it's still a C climate, very liveable but lacking longer comfy parts of the year, coming from what I'm used to I'd feel like the extremes of heat and the long moderate cold were the norm in that climate and I'd miss longer spells of low 20's weather that form the basis of the shoulder seasons in my dream climate

Do you really want it to be that muggy in the summer? C+ or B- from me.

Close to the record highs are something you experience once or twice in a lifetime. A normal summer month usually sees one or two days above 35C. Fรถhn is possible from the continent, but also maritime air from the ocean can bring up the temps to 12-13C for a day or two.

C+/B- a bit too moderated for me and the diurnal ranges are a bit too low as is the winter snowfall...but it's not a bad climate at all. Pretty livable. Kind of reminds me of somewhere like Southern Michigan but with less snowfall and warmer overnight lows.

It wouldn't exist on either coast. East coast: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portland,_Maine#Geography_and_climate diurnal range much higher, summers cool West coast: hard to find a good example, but it would be cloudier and have a smaller annual range

The Midwest would be very far from the Gulf Stream, and thus probably much colder in winter.

Aside from a few minor differences, it seems like a typical Michigan or maybe Wisconsin climate. Its too continental for being on the East Coast,

B+
Solid winters and okay summers. A tad warmer and sunnier than ideal and would prefer higher precipitation but not bad on the whole. Rather similar to here but with colder and more reliable winters.
