My favorite climates tend to be in the transitional zone between Köppen Csb and Csa, with winter mean temps just a few degrees warmer than the continental threshold.

My dream climate is Am, so I'll go with that one, but really any of the three tropical types could qualify
Aw - has to be wet enough that it can support a green landscape. Am - I don't like extreme wet/dry contrasts like those of Mumbai. Af - it can't be a total washout like Quibdo.

The warmer Cfa and Aw with some crispness in winter and proper heat in summers are the best fit for me

Dfb for me. Dfa is fine too as long as it's close to the 22C means. Don't want a dry season or winter mean temps above freezing.

Cfa but the summer can't be too rainy so there goes East Asia.

Cfa, bordering on Cfb with relatively high winter mean temps

Cfa/Csa/BSh in a three-way tie, even if none are perfect. Aw is an honorable mention, too. How the mighty have fallen.

Dfa for sure. Cold winters and hot summers, great seasonality.
I also like Csa and Cfa climates, mostly because of their great summers.

The sort of mild Cfb that has some overlap with the cooler aspects of Trewartha's subtropical definitions.
