Steelernation Bishkek, Shymkent, and Almaty look fucking epic. Impressive rainfall figures for a normally dry region, and great hot, dry summers. Also I'm a huge fan of the slight bit of seasonal lead. These are like my dream continental climate.

If they were wet, they would record lots of snow in those months. Continental climates should always have spring/fall, not winter, precipitation peaks.

Shymkent looked amazing last year, wow. I wonder what Dushanbe's year was like. Dushanbe was missing half of September but the others months it was much warmer, especially in winter—didn’t get the December cold snap at all. Also about 100 mm wetter
