Gloomy afternoon here by our standards
It's 4:15 right now with heavy overcast and with the low sun angle it looks quite dark out for this time of day. Despite the gloominess it's still quite mild/warm out...75F right now with a 64F dewpoint

This is goddamn insane. There are unforecasted popcorn thunderstorms with LIGHTNING in Mildura. Yet another day with storms 5 metres away  What's funny is that the BOM has forecast tonight to be just "clear" there in the update which came out while these storms are going on. Past sunset here and the tops of those storms over Mildura are still in sunlight. A flight at 41,000ft took a detour around them aswell. Maybe i'll see some form of lightning tonight, if it doesn't die in the ass....

The last few days have been the coldest of the last few weeks, and we are starting to have some sub-freezing low.
The closest weather station today recorded a low of -0.4°C, while now (4:45 PM) it is measuring 4.4°C.
Curiously, during these days there is an evident temperature inversion during the night for which places at lower altitude are recording much lower lows than my place.
In Turin, for example, last night low was -1.9°C and at the very entrance of my valley -4.7°C!

Well ofcourse in the name of my fucken ass, all the thunderstorms died right in the ass, all I got to see was a few distant incredibly infrequent flashes, but don't worry, that fucking polar hole Mt Gambier has been assaulted all afternoon and night thus far. All the black and threatening skies were just a fucken piss take. Plus, This latest dying fizzer prevented a nice colourful sunset thanks too all the fucken anvil waste, fucken yesterday was way better saw more lightning from that lone cell 100km away plus was treated to awesome sunset colour. Yesterday didn't have storms or anything forecast, and today was hyped up to shit by the incompetent douchbags at the BOM. Better leave some booze tomorrow, last chance, and can't afford any more booze until Friday thanks to the greedy ass shit clowncil. Sometimes you just gotta fucken hate life. Fuck Mt Gambier, Fuck the trolls on the Australian Weather Forums and Weatherzone, and most of all, Fuck the BOM. Fucken incompetent that couldn't forecast their next shit, and can't fix the Melbourne radar for 2 weeks now to save their own worthless lying lives. |
