Same here with a high of -0.7°C. 5" of snow remains, somewhat less than initially expected. Actually nice outside. Looks pretty with all the snow, and brighter too. Easy to walk in, before it all melts down into a slushy bog.

5 inches? You must have been just at the northern end of the snow belt then, we only had a few flurries that didn't amount to anything.
Only 2 cm of snow in Bingley, looks like that's it for this cold spell.

2.5" inches were already left from the showers before today. So we really only had 2.5" falling today.

Damn Razza how often does that occur? Honestly, I prefer crisp snowy conditions vs milder drizzly/rainy shit. Until avg winter highs reach 12-13C, it may aswell snow.
Spent today outside working, man that sun literally cooks you. If there is no breeze, you literally are being broiled. Not kidding either.
today's low/high
PWS: 15.8C/32.8C , Airport: 13.2C/32.9C

Melbourne only got to 20.6C and the airport 21.8C today. Had no idea there was a remorseless POLAR ATTACK there. Jgthe1 needs to drop a few expletives, and needs to scramble his B-52s ready to teach Sydney a lesson, especially those fucken Penroids.

I mentioned in the the shoutbox but it's been wiped out by now. The southerly cancer wanted one last breath before summer actually starts tomorrow, but with the predominant wind direction being south in the coming week, I'm nervous. I really hope the forecast and this high pressure system holds up. Anyway, for the PWS: 12:15am, 12/12/2017: 16.4°C, partly cloudy, 76% humidity, wind 17km/h from the SE. Extremes for 11/12/2017: 13.4°C/22.4°C.

1.2°C - sunny.
Low was only -2.9°C in the end. Still thick ice everywhere. Nice to see the sun for the first time in weeks though.

That's what the website says. Could be wrong though. No ice is melting (apart from that in the sun) so the station thermometer could be reading high due to sun.

0.4C here at the latest reading, but it's definitely dropping again now. We're expecting -5 or -6C in York tonight, so I wouldn't be surprised to see Linton, Leeming or Topcliffe drop below -10C tonight. Leeming was about -9C this morning, and tonight is supposed to be colder so we shall see.

Lows were 48 F (9 C) at all local airports here this morning, probably about 45 F (7 C) at my house. As of 10 AM, it's 56 F (13 C) with a 33 F (1 C) dew point, heading up for 68 F (20 C) today, though I'm not sure it'll quite reach that. Nice day regardless.
