When the Apocalypse happens and there's no 'lectricity.... well those big cold arse cities in the higher latitudes are gunna be pretty shithouse to eke out a living.... the warmer one can grow sustainable subsistance food all year around.... just sayin'.... Europe has been thriving well before electricity or central heating while Africa has been uncivilized and poor since the dawn of mankind. The British Empire was conquering 1/4th of the world including the Canadian Tundra many years before electricity was even a thing, and at the same time Africans from the so called “tropical paradises where you can grow food year round” were living in mud huts and eating each other, just like in current times. “the warmer one can grow sustainable subsistance food all year around” Is this why Africa is known for its abundance of food while Europeans are starving and getting food aid from the rest of the world? Oh wait it’s the other way around.
