There were many more good climates in this half of the tournament. 1-8 are all at least decent, and after 8 there is a stark drop off.

Yeah I probably should’ve warned you but I thought I made it pretty clear you had to rank all 13 when I specified the new rules, as I said “rank the climates 1 to 13”.
Didn't say you would get sanctioned if you don't rank them all.
Maybe should've gone with Whöler's Cove after all to see how long it could survive. Now essentially my interest in participating in this tournament is zero. Probably Whöler's Cove would've fared better than my real climate, because most posters seem to rank like "any tint of blue -> bottom of the list".

I made it halfway between Ushant, France and Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. That was my intent all the time. I wanted to see what it would look like.

You didn’t get sanctioned and your vote was counted. I just gave everyone who wasn’t ranked the points they’d have gotten for coming in 5th, you only didn’t move on because I’d assume if you’d ranked them all Jets would’ve been neat the bottom and gotten fewer points. You weren’t disqualified because you didn’t rank them all. But if you don’t want to participate, oh well. |

Yeah, the tropical climates would've been at the bottom of the list. No can do, my fault. Wasn't a fan of the rank-choice voting with that many climates.

Fairweatherfan vs. Tommy was very close, Tommy has a better precipitation pattern but worse temps. If Tommy had less humid summers he’d win but they’re just disgustingly humid and too wet for me, at least Fairweatherfan is nice much of the year and probably gets the occasional storm. Nearly a tossup though, the others were easy choices

1. Cawfeefan - Much better temps
2. Jets - Comfortably warm year-round
3. Wildcat - Infinitely better than a climate that sees deadly cold in spring
4. JG lol
5. Tommy - Warmer winters and average temps, with less cold rain
6. Mets - Hard choice and it's close, but I'll go with it for the less spring seasonal lag
7. nei - No brainer
8. Noodle - Also no brainer

1. Cawfeefan - pretty easy
2. Jets - didn't even have to look, it's an amazing climate
3. Wildcat - warmer year-round without lethal winter/spring cold
4. JG - warmer year-round
5. Tommy - one of the only ones I had to think about; more consistent warmth for longer
6. Gior on a coin flip. I couldn't decide; both climates are equally very good.
7. Nei for not having a cold winter, despite the arctic summer lows
8. Noodle - another one of the forum's finest
