I like the temperature profiles of most Mediterranean climates. But I prefer a summer rainfall pattern, like in Argentina or Uruguay On a somewhat related note, I love the relatively even and somewhat winter-biased precip patterns of places like Motueka (unironically), but I prefer an actually warm temperature profile like that of Gladstone or Havana. Too bad there aren't a lot of setups that allow for both. Motueka has decent rainfall totals and pattern. It’s mostly the summer temperatures holding the climate back

It’s mine but with a stupid monsoonal rainfall pattern, come on Gior. I thought you preferred Mediterranean climates. Gior's dream climate has had a monsoonal pattern for a long time, but it's my understanding that the showers/storms in summer are generally pretty brief and it isn't that humid. That is the correct case. Jacarandopolis gets intense but brief tropical rainfalls. Normally they last a couple to a few hours. And they can easily drop a couple of inches in that time frame

Way too British for my tastes I find Auckland’s summers even more shocking, as it’s located at 36S latitude. Bahia Blanca is farther from the equator

Can’t imagine many locations in the world that would produce such a cool summer climate at sea level at that latitude. Maybe just South America by the Humboldt Current

I made a modified version of my current climate in western Massachusetts that was a dream "continental temperate" climate; faster spring warm up and snowier winters. Didn't bother put the sunshine, current sunshine I think is around 55% warmer half of the year, 45% in winter, late fall. With the wetter winters, I guess a bit under 40% for winter is reasonable?

Since my pleasant tropical climate was not accepted, here is my new dream climate, Port Kandelsun Redux. It meets the Köppen requirements for a subarctic climate, either Dfc or Dwc.

Interesting choice of name. “Port” Kandelsun? It’s a “Port”? I dunno if any coastal place that averages diurnals nearly as large as those.

🖕🏿Mörön🖕🏿 I'd be more inclined to accept your tropical climate over that one, which seems to have been made in bad faith and just doesn't seem to make sense.
