This battle will pit the four corners of the US state of Georgia against each other. The state has a surprising array of different climates. You can even ski in the mountainous far north in the morning, then drive down to a citrus plantation in afternoon, just like in Motueka.
Chickamauga in the northwest has a rainy, warm temperate climate typical of the Appalachian foothills.
Mountain City is high in the Appalachians, in the northeast. It has a cool temperate rainforest climate, and gets occasional significant snow in winter.
Donalsonville in the southwest has a typical inland Southern subtropical climate.
Folkston in the southeast, nearer to the ocean, has a peak subtropical climate. This is the epitome of subtropical IMO.
Macon in the center has a subtropical climate as well, slightly warmer than Atlanta's.

I'll go with Chickamauga for the good temps and heavy winter rains, and comparatively dry summers.

Folkston appears Boteved - nearby Waycross has considerably cooler nights with a similar distance to the coast: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waycross,_Georgia#Climate Even so though, it has my vote. Nice warm/hot summers and comfortable most of the year.

Mountain City for me.
Folkston’s data is nowhere near being accurate.

Mountain City has awesome temps.
Not very diverse climates though, just warmer/colder versions of the same thing.

They vary in precip pattern and aridity level too, and of course no one is mistaking the temperature régimes.

They vary in precip pattern and aridity level too, and of course no one is mistaking the temperature régimes. The precipitation patterns are oh so different, either pretty even or wetter in summer. They also all get significant precipitation, just some wetter than others. And I said the temperature regimes are different, they’re just warmer/colder versions of the same thing. None are particularly continual or particularly mild. Of course they’ll be small differences for being coastal or inland but nothing bigger and the higher elevations are colder but that’s to be expected when they’re a few thousand feet up.

Chickamauga.
Macon is second best because of its relative dryness, but summer temperatures are significantly cooler in Chickamauga compared to Macon, and I am not afraid of winter cold (yet).
