Raleigh NC. I'll sacrifice some winter warmth for warmer summers for this one.

^^Not with sub freezing winter temp Raleigh NC .... lol... ( oh oh 'subtropical' debate alert ! ) Raleigh, NC is a classic subtropical climate. Long, hot, and humid summers with cool variable winters. People like to talk about how the US South gets intense winter cold snaps, which is true, but those cold snaps are transient. Furthermore the south also gets winter “heat waves” that put anywhere else at similar latitudes to shame. Raleigh is at 36N and can get 77/66 (25/19) days in mid-winter.

NSW
Better summers and the winters are more comfortable. No point having mediocre winters with even worse summers.

Jeez you blokes... come and experience an actual subtropical climate ... 3 month winter means of 2.4c/12.3c are light years away from what is considered 'subtropical' anywhere else in the world... or at least anywhere in the SH And lets not get started on the historical lows... 'subtropical' ? pffft how about 'subcontinental' for a descriptive term... ? How is Raleigh, NC doing for citrus, bananas, mangos, jacarandahs, palms etc... you know... actual subtropical plants that grow world wide in actual subtropical climates ?
