Yeah, its sorta OK.... very *Alice Springs - ish the climate box... *edit....hmmmm, maybe I can find a closer match in outback SA or NSW Cobar, NSW is a decent match. Cobar's highs are cooler in winter. I'd say maybe St George Queensland, although this one is more of a "wet-ish" semi arid. There's not much of a close match in NSW and especially the cooler-wintered SA. I remember thinking Kalgoorlie, WA had a similar climate to Riverside when making the Kalgoorlie-Boulder vs Boulder, CO climate battle. But looking at it again, the winters are a bit too cool.

B-. Not terrible, though 10-15°F warmer lows in summer and a reversed precip pattern would be a dramatic enhancement, possibly up to A status.
