2-5 per year, they'll occur in the coldest periods of high pressure after strong cold fronts.

Since records began in December 2021, there has been one air frost. So far is a rate of 0.5/year.

This apparently doesn't count car frost on windscreens?

IDK how many frosts my dream climate gets. 80 maybe?
Turku has gotten 125 on average (2004-2023), so yeah, 80ish sounds reasonable.

Winter daily minima and variability are similar to somewhere like Austin. 10-15 on average, but anything between zero to around 40 is remotely possible.

1-2 a month from November-March. So that works out to about 9 per year. Should be an amount that allows for both snow and year round greenery.

Some snowless years seem inevitable though Would be very rare, even if it only gets down to 33-34 in a record mild year, thatโs still cold enough for snow especially as cold temps come with moisture.

I thought your dream climate had an average low of like 20F in winter. It used to, now winter average lows are like 40. I realized I donโt like the cold mornings/evenings here and the completely bare/brown vegetation
