Looks like a warm front next week. That's an inland trough event, not a warm front. It's only warm for your area because you're on the downwind. On the upwind it looks like this i.e., basically average temps:

Continuing the warmer than average dry season 2021. I mean really ? 33c's and 34c's in July ? And we are running about 1c above average for max and min so far in July, continuing the trend of May and June.

After the relatively mild week we just had, the warmth returns...

Couple more frosty nights before it warms up with some showery weather.

I thought my forecast was really good, especially when comparing to Umeå and the similar one in Nyköping, but than I looked up Riga. Holy mackerel.

Umea has the best forecast of that lot. Riga's is disgusting. I wouldn't be sleeping in those o'night lows.
Forecast for Sheffield: Bang on average temps, a bit of rain and cloud this weekend then warm sunny weather into next week. Very normal.

Yeah Latvia will probably have a record-breaking streak of lows. Multiple nights way above 20C even in non-UHI locations.

They're welcome to it. 10 years ago I'd have enjoyed that forecast, but my preferences have changed a lot in the last 5 years. Now 21-24°C does me just fine, and it's only excess cloud or sub-20 highs in summer that are annoying. Also, still don't like cold winters.

I am getting used to warm nights, it is nothing terrible. Looking at your forecast, I remember our bad summers when days over 20C seemed like a blessing. Now, it would feel quite cold after getting used to heat. I will go on vacation from 17 July and I don't like the forecast, it looks like it can even get below average. I think I should travel to escape the cold.

I think I should travel to escape the cold. Our long term avg. high is 21 in July, and that's what we're on right now, and June also had an average high of 21, so it was nearly 2°C above average. We're having a decent summer here in the UK, just no ridiculous heatwaves. Certainly not been a bad summer. We had particularly hot days in all of the past three summers (36°C in 2019, 34°C July 2020) and 30°C doesn't happen every year here anyway normally.
I used to like heat but due to medical reasons I no longer do.

That forecast is OK, don't like that 17 degree day.

Lmao. We have been so lucky this summer.
... And I don't think it will be colder. The monthly forecast just came out and it says above average temps for all 4 weeks.

Pretty average forecast, if a bit on the showery side.

Nothing really notable. Seasonable temperatures and continued chances for rain. At this rate rainfall will end up above average this month after having a dryer than normal June.
