C, could do with much warmer winters and wetter summers. But summer temps are good plus it's got a good sunshine/precip pattern, so you could do a lot worse.

D+. Winter and summer are both terrible. The nice months in spring and early fall save it from a worse grade.

B-. Perfect precipitation and sunshine pattern but too hot in summer.

C. I like the sunshine and relatively warm spring and fall. The huge seasonal variation is interesting, but the winter and summer heat waves are unpleasant, and it's too dry.

Average summer temps are fine although extreme heat potential is too high for my liking.
Winter temps are shitty and mediocre. Definitely the worst time of year there.

C-. Would prefer if summers were a little cooler, winters warmer and more even precipitation distribution

Temperatures are very good. However, it's too dry in every season except summer. Sunshine is decent but summer is too cloudy. Record highs and lows are good.
Probably the best climate in East Asia.

If I don't consider the air quality factor then C-. Technically a BSk climate bordering Dwa.

Beijing is generally nice, warm and sunny, but winter sucks, too cold and much too dry, perfect recipe for chapped skin and lips. Summer is a bit too wet as well, would prefer more even precipitation.

Last December in Beijing had a very long-lasting and severe cold snap with almost two weeks failing to reach above freezing, as well as -22C and 18cm of snow apparently:

Pretty much the best continental climate possible. Winters are dry which means very little snowfall, and summers are monsoonal and sufficiently hot which gives them a sticky feel. C.
