Unsure. Cherrapunji is tempting though because it's interesting and not some run of the mill hot or cold climate. Also in a beautiful area, in large part thanks to the rain. Surprisingly few rain days over 2.5mm at least despite the scary total rainfall figure. Outside of the monsoon period of June-September, most rain comes in the form of violent thunderstorms that don't last long. |

Gulmarg of these mediocre options. Spring looks pretty bad, summer is mediocre, but fall and winter are awesome for India.
Dras would be a contender and maybe better since it's not so wet. But there is no reliable climate data.
